The images of the Proletariat Deck are reinterpretations of the themes of traditional tarot decks through the lives of regular people in contemporary, urban settings.
I use colored pencil and watercolor pencil to draw the images. The models for the images are from candid photographs I’ve taken around town, photos of myself and friends, or from photographs in the public domain. I scan the images and use a computer program to add borders and text.
